Mary "Nichole" Campbell
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by Charlotte Judd, LPC-S, NCC
From early on in my education, I was passionate about forging a career in mental heal. For decades, the norm has been to struggle in silence rather than to confide in others.
However, times are changing and now is the perfect opportunity to start making our mental health a priority. Whether it be help with managing current stressors, understanding your symptoms, preparing for major life transitions, or processing trauma, counseling can benefit you.
I believe the power of the therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst for change, and
therefore I strive to create a safe environment that allows you the freedom of self-
exploration without fear of judgement. Your experiences are uniquely yours, and therefore you are the expert on you and my role is to provide support. I want to see the world from your perspective. We will explore your stressors, thoughts, and emotions to find connections. We will highlight and embrace your strengths while building up the coping skills in your toolbelt.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Presently, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas, receiving supervision under Charlotte Judd, LPC-S.
In my free time, I enjoy staying active through various means of exercise. I also spend hours each week in the kitchen, living out my fantasy as a Food Network star. Family and friends are a priority of mine, and I travel around Texas as often as possible to see them. If I’m not doing these things, I can usually be found relaxing, enjoying cozy moments with my 6-year-old puppy.
My work primarily involves assisting adults of all ages facing challenges such as anxiety,
depression, trauma, low self-esteem, imposter syndrome, assertiveness, grief, and
navigating significant life changes. I am also incredibly passionate about working with
trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, and survivors of intimate partner violence. While these
areas have been my primary focus, I maintain a flexible approach, remaining open to
learning and adapting to new challenges that may arise during therapy sessions. I am eager to understand your unique experiences and join you on the journey towards overall wellness.
