I provide a safe, caring and warm environment for you to explore your feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging memories, identify areas of life that you may want to change. I also work with you to better understand yourself and others, set personal goals and work towards desired change.
People come to me for a variety of reasons that include (but are not limited to): depression, anxiety, difficulties in relationships, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and chronic pain. It is my goal as a therapist to learn about you, understand you, facilitate change and get you to the place in life that you want to be.
I see couples who are in various stages of their relationship from those who are considering marriage to those who have decided to divorce and every stage in between. Perhaps you want to communicate better, learn to resolve conflict, or improve your sex life with your partner, there are a variety of reasons that couples come into counseling.
Unfortunately not all relationships last and you may find yourself going through a divorce or grieving the loss of a spouse or partner. I can provide a listening ear and teach you ways to cope with such a devastating loss. If you are considering therapy, I invite you to reach out to me.
