I knew very early in life that I wanted to help people. I found the path of how when I experienced my own counseling. Therapy showed me that although I was experiencing hardship, it wasn’t the end of the world, and that was exactly what I needed at the time.

As a therapist, I take pride in fostering a nonjudgmental, open, and genuine space for my clients on their journey of healing and discovery. My experience includes working with adults with commorbid disorders including substance use, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and a history of trauma. I work collaboratively with my clients using a person-centered therapeutic approach. I meet you where you are and alter my approach to fit my client. I utilize skills from numerous modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), trauma-focused, and mindfulness-based. Everyone needs help once in a while and that is okay! Life is hard sometimes, let’s work together to make it easier.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Houston and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I receive comprehensive supervision from Charlotte Judd, LPC-S, NCC. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports (especially baseball), trying out new restaurants, and going to the movies. I also enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my pets!
